Biography

Heath completed his PhD at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2005. Previous to this, he completed a Master of Economics (with honors) and Bachelor of Economics (with honors) at Monash University. He has twice been a visiting fellow in the Program on the Foundations of the Market Economy at New York University (2005 and 2001). Most recently he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Iowa (2008-2011). He has taught subjects such as Law and Economics, Public Policy and Economics, and Ethics and Economics. His current research focus includes projects in the general areas of institutions, entrepreneurship, and public policy.
