Biography

Katrina received her PhD in Education from the University of Western Sydney in 2007. Since 2003 she has taught postgraduate students in Educational Psychology across the primary and secondary programs, co-coordinates professional experience and coordinates the research methods and design unit for the Honours students. Katrina's research focus links well to her teaching as it relates to student motivation, self-concept, classroom management and school retention. Most of her research employs sophisticated quantitative analyses. Prior to being employed at UWS, Katrina completed a teaching degree and worked as a primary school teacher.
