Biography
Dr Maggie Hall is a criminologist, criminal lawyer and social worker with a national and developing international reputation for her research into criminal justice and prisons . Public engagement and education about criminal justice is a priority in her work and she regularly responds to media, official and academic requests for expert advice and commentary on key issues in criminal justice and penality. Her monograph , " The Lived Sentence" is part of the highly regarded Prisons series published by Palgrave MacMillan in 2017.
