Biography
Nidthida Lin is a Research Lecturer in School of Business, University of Western Sydney. She has PhD in Strategic Management from Australian Graduate School of Management (AGSM), University of New South Wales and University of Sydney. Upon a completion of her PhD, Nidthida worked on the Offshoring Research Network (ORN) project as a Senior Research Associate at Center of International Business Research and Education (CIBER), Fuqua School of Business, Duke University. She received a master’s degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, USA and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Kasetsart University, Thailand. Prior to her PhD, Nidthida worked as a business consultant at Accenture specializing in Enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Mining.
Nidthida’s scholarly interests are predominantly in the areas of innovation management, strategic outsourcing, global sourcing of business services, managerial decision-making, and choice modeling. Her PhD dissertation was awarded a Highly Commended in the ANZAM Best Doctoral Dissertation Award at the 2011 ANZAM Annual Conference and her work has been published in international academic journals such as European Management Journal, European Management Review and Industry and Innovation. Nidthida is involved in several international networks of scholar and serves as a member of Communication Committee in the International Management Division of the Academy of Management.
