Biography

Dr. Alexander is a 3rd generation ‘creative’ with Design and Business degrees and European, Australian, Asian, North American design industry experience and currently member of the Industrial Design Department in the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment at Western Sydney University (WSU) and past Director of Academic Program Industrial Design (multiple occassions last 25 years). Previous WSU faculty membership in Engineering (past Associate Head of School), Business and Technology, Health and Science, Computing Engineering and Mathematics, Engineering and Industrial Design, and Design Architecture Building UTS Sydney. Career mentors & collaborators from: Olivetti (ex Bellini office Italy); Krups (Germany); Chrysler; Professor Knud Holscher (Denmark/KHR). Industry Consultant: Industrial Electrical; Caroma Industries; Dulux; Pressalit, automotive, Powerhouse Museum Turbine Hall Permanent Exhibition - Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Copenhagen, San Diego.
