Biography
Bonnie Pang’s research draws on a (critical) socio-cultural perspective to engage issues associated with young people’s physical activity, Health and Physical Education and wellbeing.
In particular, Bonnie is committed to making a difference to the ways how Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD)/ Asian (Chinese) communities engage in physical activity, health and wellbeing practices in relation to their familial, schooling and community environments based on a strengths-based approach.
Social theories/philosophies that I draw on include: Bourdieu, Critical Race Theory, Postcolonialism, and Confucianism.
