Biography
Brett joined UWS in 1993 as a lecturer, following a number of years of work in industry, public practice and TAFE teaching. He gained promotion to Senior Lecturer in 2000 based mainly on his contributions to teaching, curriculum development and educational leadership. Over the years he has held positions as Course Adviser and Head of Program for accounting degree students. From 2008 to 2010 he was Associate Head of the former School of Accounting and in this role he had particular responsibility for monitoring and improving teaching and learning outcomes. He is a graduate of UWS and like many of our students he grew up in Western Sydney and was the first in his family to gain degree qualifications. He is keen to see the University's reputation improve through producing capable, high-quality graduates who will have successful business careers. Brett's current areas of teaching are Auditing and Corporate Accounting.
