Biography

Completed Bachelor of Arts (Honours Class 1, Psychology) at the University of Sydney in 1993. In 1994, commenced PhD in Psychology at the University of Sydney. From 1994 to 2001, worked as a sessional lecturer/tutor at the University of Sydney, the University of Western Sydney, and the University of Wollongong, teaching a range of topics including Motor Control and Learning, Sport Psychology, Human Performance, Personality, History and Philosophy of Psychology, and Statistics. Commenced full-time teaching position at the University of Western Sydney in 2002. In 2005, completed doctoral thesis on the topic of motivation in sport. As of November 2008, achieved tennis ranking of 715 in Australia.
