Biography
Simon holds a Bacherlor of Arts (Hons 1) and a Bachelor of Laws and a PhD from the University of New South Wales. His PhD thesis was tilted "Law, Custom and Society across the Pacific: California and Queensland 1850-1880". Simon is also admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW. Simon has worked at the law firms of Clayton Utz and Freehills and has taught at the University of New South Wales, Australian Catholic University, and now the University of Western Sydney. In 2006 Simon commenced a PhD at the University of New South Wales. His thesis is titled "Law, Custom and Society across the Pacific: California and Queensland 1850-1880". He will submit his thesis in 2009.
