Biography

Christine is a  Registered Nurse with over 30 years’ experience in clinical practice and education. Christine's clinical area of expertise is in operating theatre nursing where she held governance positions of clinical nurse specialist, clinical nurse educator and nurse educator. She is a lecturer at Western Sydney University and has been teaching in the undergraduate nursing degree in theoretical and clinical units for 14 years, and also acts as subject coordinator for a large multi campus first year clinical subject.

Christine has been developing her publications profile since 2016 and is currently a PhD Candidate at WSU researching nursing numeracy education exploring the pedagogical approaches to the teaching of numeracy in undergraduate nurse education: Towards an evidence-based and standardised approach.
