Biography
Patricia Hellier is our Casual Administration Officer. She commenced working at UWS in 2008 and has held various positions within the University. Patricia completed a Bachelor of Business Studies from Monash University in 1999 and has extensive customer service/support experience.
Her position works closely with the Institute Manager and is responsible for administrative issues within the Institute, particularly the provision of accurate information on the website and within publications and promotional materials. She also provides secretariat support as needed.
Administrative Expertise
The responsibilities of her role relate to the Institute and its academic and general staff, and postgraduate students. In particular, Patricia:
- Manages the HIE website
- Provides secretariat support
- Provides administrative support the HDR Coordinator
- Provides recruitment administration, including position advertising and committee support
- Manages conferences, seminars and special events
- Manages visits to the HIE
