Biography
Toni commenced her academic career at the University of Technology in 1994 as an Adjunct Lecturer teaching Employment Relations in undergraduate and postgraduate classes. At this time she also taught at Sydney TAFE as a part-time lecturer in Employment Relations. Toni commenced as a tenured Academic at the University of Western Sydney in 2005 and is currently enrolled in a PhD at the University of Western Sydney on the topic of "Work and Family Balance" and has published three articles on the topic. Prior to joining academia, Toni worked in the private sector for 15 years in administrative and human resource management roles in organisations such as Penfolds Wines, Target Australia and Rheem Australia. While working in these roles, Toni gained valuable experience in recruitment, training and development and performance management. This experience has been invaluable in her academic role as she has been able to bring organisational case study examples into the classroom to help explain theoretical concepts.
