Ideas Committee

In 2004, the In the Loop website was established as an online communications resource for staff and students, to convey ideas about how the University has the potential to improve efficiencies and save money.

An overwhelming number of suggestions were received through this website (see the ‘Your Suggestions’ link below), so the UWS Ideas Committee was established to assess and investigate suggestions, not only relating to the Agenda for Sustainability, but about any improvements that could be made to University services and operations.

The Committee has investigated and replied back to a majority of the suggestions received. The Internal Communications Unit are working alongside Professor Geoff Scott, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Quality) to manage the remaining suggestions and any new suggestions emailed to In the Loop.
