Requirements

To study online you will need access to an Internet connected computer, either at home or work, a local Internet Café or the IT computer labs. You don't need to have the latest and fastest computer to study online. The minimum requirements for software and hardware listed below will enable you to access all of the features offered in your online unit.

Minimum computer requirements

• PC running Windows 2000 or XP
• MAC running Macintosh OS X
• Internet Connection via broadband or at least 56Kbps
• Supported Internet browser (Internet Explorer 6)
• Microsoft Office (or equivalent)
• Adobe Acrobat Reader
• Java 1.5.06 and approximately 120MB free hard drive space for Java installation.

Internet browser

We recommend using Internet Explorer 6 for Windows or Netscape 7.2 for Macintosh.

Java
