You will have a range of costs associated with your study. These will include books, printing, photocopying and stationery. They may also include specific costs associated with your course such as field trips and immunisation. Eligible undergraduate students pay for tuition through the Commonwealth Assistance scheme where students have the option of deferring payment. Students ineligible for the Commonwealth Assistance scheme will be required to pay the student contribution upfront.
Information on fees will have been provided for you at enrolment. Statements of Tuition Fees and Student Contribution payments will be sent to you in the mail during March 2008. If your address has changed since you enrolled, please go to a Student Centre to make the necessary changes to your mailing address.
UWS has a range of rules and policies that apply to students. Most are published in the UWS Calendar.
It is very important that UWS has the correct contact details for you. If you have a change of name complete the 'Change of Name' form available from the Enrolments section - and submit it to your campus Student Centre. You can change your address online using MySR.
Go to your campus Student Centre. Take some form of ID with you. A fee may apply.
If you are a domestic student (Australian citizen, permanent resident, holder of a Humanitarian Visa or a NZ citizen) and are enrolling in an undergraduate degree you are required to complete and lodge a CAF to have your enrolment confirmed. If you do not lodge this form by the approved census date your enrolment will not proceed and you will not be an enrolled student for the teaching session. If you are eligible for HECS HELP you must provide a valid Tax File Number (TFN) on your CAF by the approved census date if you intend to defer part or all of your student contribution.
