Yes. Every student has an email account that can be accessed from anywhere in the world. The university uses the email system to let students know about key information.
To find out more about activating and accessing your UWS email account go to MyUWSAccount. Your student email account will then be accessible at http://student.uws.edu.au/.
As a condition of your enrolment, it is your responsibility to check your student email account regularly.
If you log in to these systems using MyUWS at http://myuws.uws.edu.au you should only have to enter your details once. MyUWS will remember your information and pass it to each system linked from the MyUWS page.
You are able to borrow from the library using your student ID card. Please wait at least two working days after enrolment before you try to borrow to allow time for your automatic registration.
It is a good idea to familiarise yourself with the Library. If you have any questions or problems, staff in the Library will be able to help you.
Check out the information resources and services available for students, including student employment, planning and managing your career and skills workshops on the UWS Careers & Cooperative Education website.
Your Student Association on campus will be able to provide you with information on what is available. Sport and leisure information is also available.
Go and talk to your Welfare Officer on your campus.

If you think you are experiencing harassment or bullying there are many staff you can contact. If you feel harassed or bullied in the classroom, talk with your lecturer, Program Head or Head of School. If you feel harassed or bullied in general at university, you can talk with Grievance Advisors.
If you have a problem the best place to start is to go and talk to someone from the area involved. If you feel you can’t resolve the matter then access information on the complaint management system on the web.
