Postgraduate coursework including post initial and Bachelors (Honours)
Applicants who have undertaken studies in an overseas country may need to provide proof of proficiency in English. Documentation must be provided by the application closing date. You do not have to provide proof of proficiency in English if you were born in one of the following countries:
- American Samoa
- Australia
- Canada
- Fiji
- Ireland
- Kenya
- New Zealand
- Papua New Guinea
- Singapore
- Solomon Islands
- South Africa
- United Kingdom (including Northern Ireland)
- United States of America
- Zambia
and have at least one qualification from one of the countries listed and the language in which you undertook the qualification was English.
Approved English Language Tests
Only results obtained in the last two years will be accepted.

- STAT - Special Tertiary Admissions Test
If you do not meet any of the criteria listed above, but think you can demonstrate proficiency in English in another way, such as a qualification completed in English from a country not listed, please contact the Course Information Centre on 1800 897 669.
