Prospective international students are required to pay their fees for the first teaching session before they can be enrolled as a University of Western Sydney student.
Tuition Fees must be paid by all International students no later than the census date for each teaching session. Visit the International Student Course Fees page for your fee rate per 10 credit point units.
International students are required to enroll in a full-time load of 4 units, or 40 credit points, for each teaching session. This is a condition of their Student Visa.
Commencing International students will be advised of exact fees on their official offer letter, including Tuition Fees and compulsory International Student Health Cover.
This is a compulsory health insurance policy that is required for the issue of a Student Visa.
After receiving an offer of a place at the University of Western Sydney, International students will usually be asked to pay for Overseas Student Health Cover, unless they already hold a policy.
International students who are classified as AusAID sponsored, and certain categories of IDP sponsored students, may be eligible to have OSHC paid for them by their scholarship provider.
Students who fail to pay their fees by the census date will have their enrolment cancelled, will not be able to graduate, re-enrol or receive official documents, including results.
The University is obliged to report this action to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) which could have major ramifications for the student in relation to their visa.
Please note that Tuition Fees do not include other expenses associated with university study such as books, equipment, accommodation and living expenses.
