Non-Award Fees

Non-Award units

Non-Award units are charged per unit of study, and must be paid up-front before the relevant census date. The amount charged depends on whether the unit is undergraduate or postgraduate. Non-Award students are not eligible to apply for FEE-HELP.

Undergraduate Non-Award Units (non UniTrack units)
Units are charged at 100% of the student contribution rate. Please refer to the Student Contribution page for further information on costs. For information on admission, or how to apply, visit the Non-Award studies admissions web page.

If you are a current UWS award student, and your enrolment is cancelled as a result of non-payment of student contribution fees by the census date, you are able to complete the units you were enrolled in at census as a Non-Award (Miscellaneous) student. For further details, contact enrolments@uws.edu.au.

Postgraduate Non-Award Units
Non-Award units at a postgraduate level are charged the per unit rate for the postgraduate course that the units are derived from. To find the applicable fee, please visit the postgraduate tuition fee schedule.

Cross Institutional units

Cross Institutional fees apply if you are studying an undergraduate unit at UWS as part of your award at your home higher education provider.

Undergraduate Cross Institutional Units will be charged at the student contribution amount for that unit, and units at a postgraduate level are charged the per unit rate for the postgraduate course that the units are derived from. UniTrack units

If you are accepted into the UniTrack program, you must pay your unit tuition fees up front. UniTrack students are not eligible to apply for FEE-HELP.

UniTrack units are charged at a set rate, depending on the student contribution band that the unit belongs to. Costs listed below do not include any other expenses associated with university study such as books, equipment, accommodation or living expenses.

Student contribution bands are divided into discipline (subject type) areas and unit costs are set per 10 credit points (or 0.125 EFSTL) per unit:

Nursing, Education

Band 1 - $790.00
Arts, Behavioural Science, Humanities,Social Studies, Foreign Languages, Visual and Performing Arts.

Band 2 - $1,145.00
Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Built Environment, Health, Engineering, Science, Surveying, Agriculture.

Band 3 - $1,310.00
Accounting, Commerce, Administration, Economics, Law, Medicine.
