At UWS, our postgraduate programs are developed in consultation with industry and professional organisations to meet real world needs. We place a strong emphasis on professional accreditation so you graduate with usable and marketable qualifications. This practical focus is combined with an academic approach to critical thinking encouraging you to think independently and analytically.

UWS offers a number of our courses with flexible teaching arrangements to help you manage your time. These include online study, e-learning, evening classes, distance education and intensive weekend workshops.

Coursework Postgraduate Studies at UWS:  

Graduate Certificate Courses - usually designed for specific vocational purposes, ie to increase or broaden the skills and knowledge. The requirement for entiy is usually Bachelor Degree or relevant work experience.

Graduate Diploma Courses - provide opportunities for students to develop a specialisation within a pre-determined area of knowledge. The requirement is usually a Bachelor Degree, Graduate Certificate or relevant work experience.

Masters by Coursework - offers study for professional development and advancement. Such degrees provide you with a specialisation and contain core and elective subjects in a wide range of areas to enable you to select the program of study that most suits your needs. The requirement for entry is usually Bachelor Degree, Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma and/or relevant work experience.
