UWS Summer Dates

UWS Summer is split into three categories:

• Summer 1 (December)
• Summer 2 (December - February)
• Summer 3 (January - February)

The University will close for two weeks over the Christmas / New Year period, and there will be a short stuvac in February.

2 December 2013	Summer 1 and Summer 2 teaching commences
15 December 2013	Census date for Summer 1
20 December 2013	Summer 1 teaching ends
5 January 2014	Census date for Summer 2
6 January 2014	Summer 3 teaching commences
19 January 2014	Census date for Summer 3
5 February 2014	Summer 2 and Summer 3 teaching ends
6 February 2014	Stuvac commences for Summer 2 and Summer 3
9 February 2014	Stuvac ends for Summer 2 and Summer 3
10 February 2014	Centrally coordinated examinations commence
15 February 2014	Centrally coordinated examinations end
20 February 2014	Release of results for Summer 1, Summer 2 and Summer 3
