Short Courses

Short Courses for 2010

The Centre's short courses provide a mix of theory and practice that extends and updates professional knowledge, skills and judgment for a variety of urban professionals.

The courses are held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in the Parramatta CBD or at the Urban Research Centre located at level 6, 34 Charles St Parramatta (unless advised otherwise).

Registration for Short Courses

Applicants can register online until a week before the course commences by selecting the appropriate course from the menu to the left and then following the registration prompts.

The course registration fee includes course materials, refreshments and lunches. Please note that our courses are GST free.

Cancellation Policy

In July 2009 the Urban Research Centre reviewed its cancellation policy for short course fees. 

Under the revised policy:

• More than seven days notice of cancellation will allow for a full refund. 

• Where less than seven days notice of cancellation occurs participants will be charged 30% of the cost of the course.

• A participant who is unable to attend a course may defer to a later offering of the course without financial penalty providing that at least three days notice is given. 

The Urban Research Centre reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course if there are insufficient registrations. If this does occur a full refund of registration fees for the cancelled course will be offered.
