Program Short
With a series of multilingual spoken-word performances Auburn Poets and Writers Group will take you on a tour joining queues across Auburn, transforming mindless waiting into an entertaining ‘can’t wait’ experience.

Program Long
Life is full of waiting . . . the greyness of waiting in a bank for money, the worry of waiting in a medical centre for help, the hope of waiting in a post office for mail, and the necessity of waiting in a supermarket for food . . . whenever you’re waiting in a queue, you can’t help but wonder about the stories reflected in the faces of the people in front and behind you. With a series of multilingual spoken-word performances Auburn Poets and Writers Group will take you on a tour as they join queues across Auburn and transform the mindless waiting into an entertaining ‘can’t wait’ kind of experience.

Presented by Auburn Poets and Writers Group and supported by University of Western Sydney.

Group meeting point is outside the Australia Post Office (located on G2 Level, Auburn Central, 57 Queen St, Auburn) to be then taken on a tour around Auburn.
