Welcome to the UWS ‘Living Memory’ portal. In 2013, the University of Western Sydney will be celebrating 25 Years as a statutory institution. Some of its traditions go back to the 1890s (or, in the case of the Female Orphan School and UWS’ aboriginal communities, back to 1813 and beyond), while others are emerging right now in the social, staff, student and alumni communities which make up the University’s life. Each campus and many locations within those campuses have special memories attached to them. We would like to hear from you about your experiences at UWS, in particular if you have memories of places, people, programs or events which illustrate the history and particularity of UWS.
Please write a short account of your special memory, fill out your personal and contact details, and press ‘submit’. Your entry will go to a moderator, who will manage the process of vetting, uploading and overseeing the site.
Thank you for contributing to this growing, online account of UWS ‘Living Memory’.
Please Note: Fields with '*' are required as mandatory fields and must be filled in. Submissions will be edited and moderated before publication and not all submissions will be published.
