Before applying for a social media account, please consider if you are able to make use of existing official University channels:

UWS Branded Social Media Request

Please be advised that all UWS branded social media requests must be submitted 4 weeks prior to the date you want the account to be launched. If your request for an account is submitted with less than 4 weeks, the Web Services Unit (WSU) can not guarantee your request will be processed in time for your intended launch date.

Below is the Social Media Project Brief as found in the UWS Social Media Guidelines(opens in a new window). All requests will be reviewed by the Social Media Committee. If you require assistance with filling out the brief, please contact your WSU Web Coordinator.
