Locating an Asset using the Asset Map

Please note: if you do not know where a specific web page is in the Asset Map, you can use the Quick Search field in the Insert Link box to locate its location. Please be reminded that internal web pages are those that contain the UWS domain name i.e. http://www.uws.edu.au/... 

  1. Select the Content tab

  2. Activate the WYSIWYG Editor

  3. Select the Insert Link icon insert link icon in the WYSIWYG Editor. The Insert Link pop box will appear

  4. Enter the complete URL of the web page you are trying to locate in the Quick Search field

  5. Select Enter on your keyboard

  6. The Search in Progress message will appear

  7. Once search has completed, the following Search Result will appear

  8. To find out where the web page is located in the Asset Map, select the Binoculars (show in Asset Map) icon Binoculars. The web page will be highlighted in the Asset Map
