Replacing/ Updating an Existing Document

How do I replace / update an existing document?

 

Please note: If you recieve a new version of an existing document, you can replace / update the exsiting document with the newer version so that all the links will be automatically updated. Please be advised that once a document is replaced / updated, we no longer can retrieve the older version, therefore, please archive your own document version.

  1. Select the Account Tab
  2. Select Recently uploaded documents
  3. All your Recently created documents will appear at the bottom
  4. Locate the document that will replace. Please note: if you cannot find the document in the first screen, please select the  icon located at the bottom to view your other documents
  5. Select Edit file next to the document you need to replace / update.
  6. The SEI for this document will open a new window
  7. Select the Details tab. Please note: When replacing / updating a document, you do not need to change the status to Safe Edit.
  8. Select Browse and open the new version of the document. Please note: It is highly recommended to keep a date stamp or version control on your documents so that you are aware of what version is published e.g. Training Document 131010.pdf, Training Document v.2.pdf etc.
  9. Select Save Changes.
