Replacing/ Updating an Existing Document
How do I replace / update an existing document?
Please note: If you recieve a new version of an existing document, you can replace / update the exsiting document with the newer version so that all the links will be automatically updated. Please be advised that once a document is replaced / updated, we no longer can retrieve the older version, therefore, please archive your own document version.
- Select the Account Tab
- Select Recently uploaded documents
- All your Recently created documents will appear at the bottom
- Locate the document that will replace. Please note: if you cannot find the document in the first screen, please select the icon located at the bottom to view your other documents
- Select Edit file next to the document you need to replace / update.
- The SEI for this document will open a new window
- Select the Details tab. Please note: When replacing / updating a document, you do not need to change the status to Safe Edit.
- Select Browse and open the new version of the document. Please note: It is highly recommended to keep a date stamp or version control on your documents so that you are aware of what version is published e.g. Training Document 131010.pdf, Training Document v.2.pdf etc.
- Select Save Changes.
