Alcohol & Other Drugs and Sexual Health Working Group

In partnership with Nepean Blue Mountains and Western Sydney Local Health Districts (NBM&WS LHD)

Objective

Identification of issues relating to Alcohol & Other Drugs and Sexual Health (A&ODSH) for the UWS community, including staff and students
Exploration of jointly agreed professional learning opportunities relevant to A&ODSH and the UWS community, including staff and students
Drive and monitor the implementation and evaluation of jointly agreed project/s
Oversee the establishment of sub groups to assist in the implementation of specific strategies
Generate commitment and support from key stakeholders for the A&ODSHWG Project Plan/s
Report on progress of the A&ODSHWG Project Plan/s to the Operational Group

Training for welfare officers (training with other relevant units is currently being organised)
Alcohol & Other Drug and Sexual Health promotion at key UWS events
